20 Year Short Break – “Bring it on” [Self Released]

Rob Miller and Dan Wright met in a middle school band at the age of 15 and were like brothers from day one. Little by little, the music and bands got better, but it wasn’t enough for success: Their dream faded, and they both went different ways.

Together at a concert 2018, they rediscovered their dream and decided to create a lasting musical legacy; one that reflects their lives and leaves their children with more than just photos and videos. Rob and Dan’s idea is an artistic intergenerational project that preserves their coming of age stories and later life experiences for their children in sincere, truthful songs.

The 20 Year Short Break releases the new single “Bring it on” that offer an intense and engaging song, well enhanced by more marked grafts that give dynamics to the whole journey. The general sound is scratchy, sharp, with a redundant amalgam of rough sounds that amplify and enhance the atmosphere. A job well done to leave a good mark with the intent, in our opinion, successful to make the piece dynamic and ringing as a whole.

The 20 Year Short Break prove to be prepared to create dynamic structures, without renouncing more atmospheric riffs, which undoubtedly leave an excellent mark. A strong voice gives further volume and depth to listening, in fact generating a good fluidity that is so engaging and not at all tiring. A song that drags the listener into a dimension with a remarkable sound impact and which releases excellent vibrations.
