A Place In Between – “Endless Easing” [Self Released]
Formed by Thomas Francot (ex-Mantis) and Gert Stockmans based on a shared passion for atmospheric guitar melodies, A Place In Between seamlessly blends post-rock and shoegaze elements with hints of post-metal. Since 2019 this project has released three self-recorded singles. During the last two years debut album “Wander Into Bliss” was written.
Drums were recorded by Ruben Vandael under the guidance of Chiaran Verheyden, who also handled the mixing and mastering. Eline Banken, Sam Coussens (Pothamus) and Stefan De Graef (Psychonaut) provided vocals for different songs.
The input of these passionate people gave each of these tracks a unique character. With a sound that’s both introspective and immersive, our music is an exploration of the emotional landscape we navigate.
“Endless Easing”, sounds like a classic Alternative Rock, well enhanced by a fluid voice , something decidedly original, engaging and overwhelming, a proposal that can be listened to with extreme ease and naturalness.
A dynamic trend where technic and body blend together thanks to a good glue made of refined sounds well adapted to the musical context that embellish the listening.
A listening that reveals good technical and compositional skills, and that demonstrates how Infraviolet knows how to move with familiarity in their musical environment.
