In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, when the world felt like a post-apocalyptic landscape, five exceptionally talented musicians from the Greater Toronto Area came together to create something extraordinary. This marked the birth of Absent Theory, a band poised to redefine the Canadian rock scene.
Each member of Absent Theory brought with them a rich history of musical endeavors, having played in numerous bands and toured extensively across North America. Their diverse backgrounds spanned a wide range of genres, from metal to alternative rock and everything in between. The world will get its first taste of Absent Theory’s brilliance with the release of their debut single, “Break,” set to launch in February 2024.
