ALIS – “Eleven”
With this second work Alis is aiming to be one of the best Italian companies in the alternative rock field. If the first album “Demone” already demonstrated what this girl is made of, in this “Eleven” the characteristics of that album are explored and developed further. In this album then, Alis tries to convey a more positive message than in the past, because in this new album it seems that the demons of the past have been defeated and from this the spirit can regenerate and face life head on.
There are songs that highlight this energetic state, as it was in the past, but others in which the singer takes on intimate and very introspective tones. His alternative rock is therefore not just brazen guitars and pounding drums, but also something else. Alis then has an excellent vocal timbre, biting where needed and sweet in other situations, and her voice, as well as being varied, is also very exciting, and we arrive at the rather melancholic final climax of “Eterno”.
Perhaps with this album this singer wanted to explore all sides of her character and she succeeded fully, and in some episodes she was wonderful for the depth and validity of her proposal. All these elements suggest an excellent future for this singer.
