Black Propaganda - "Modern Prometheus” [Nadir Music]

With this new EP, the Turin-based Black Propaganda mark their recording comeback after ten years, i.e. since their last full-length entitled “Psychological Subject” in 2014. What will have changed in this period? Apart from some changes in the line-up, not too much in terms of sound, if not a maturation on a melodic level which is felt in some guitar intuitions which certainly recall metalcore or melodic death metal.

But their thrash metal base remains solid, which often gets really hard and mixes with the post thrash of bands like Sepultura or Machine Head. The band is in fact capable of mixing new and old, for four songs that do not disappoint expectations at all. The most convincing track of this EP is “Holodomor”, probably also the most elaborate and melodic, which was also chosen as a video clip and single. But the other songs are no joke either and will make your brain pop out of your skull! T

he great advantage of this EP is that it knows how to blend fast beats, sharp riffs and more groovy and truly dark parts. Ultimately this EP brings us back this band in top form, and we hope that for them it will be a new beginning dotted with other upcoming releases. Not to be missed!
