Bloodbound – “Creatures Of The Dark Realm” [AFM Records]
Active on the music scene since 2005, Swedish power metal Bloodbound is back with their album number nine entitled “Creatures Of The Dark Realm”. A project that treads sounds close to old glories such as Iron Maiden, Helloween and Judas Priest, but with an innovative sound updated to current times.
Twelve tracks that mark a long and intense path, made of powerful and devastating sounds thanks to songs such as “When Fate Is calling” or if you prefer “Gathering Of Soul” that alternate with softer ballads that go to draw a dynamic and at the same time melodic, thanks to a clever use of keyboard pads that enhance the general sound of this album.
To complete the picture, a vocal line that attacks and makes the atmosphere even more energetic.
An excellent confirmation for this band which is confirmed as one of the excellent proposals in the Power Metal environment.
