kbyte workextra releases the emotional EP "dream materia"

Exploring the experimental song, the EP “dream materia” by kbyte workextra has three sensitive songs that range between neo soul, alternative hip hop and poetry, influenced by postpunk and MPB from the 70s. The release begins a series of partnerships between the labels Honey Bomb and Tal & Tal Records.

The single track “1991” is a “sound letter” about turning 30 and is named after the artist’s birth year: “it’s about being patient, not giving up dreaming, being light and embracing the shadow, walking with it through this chaos of possible paths.” The EP also features the tracks “Imagem Bobagem”, a “philosophical self-analysis-lofi”, previously released in the compilation Kino Beat Vol.4, and the track “Chorinho”, which ends the work with a reflective spoken word.

In late 2020 kbyte workextra released the EP “droga feita em ksa” with a visual album included. In addition, producer Kevin B. is also guitarist and composer for the band Zanzar and signs musical productions such as Dazluz, having already worked with artists such as Amanda Gabana, Cecé Bird, Bruno Amaral, Gui Flor, Agnes Maria, Pretana and Bucepretas, in addition to several artistes within the compilation project “Mapa Astral” by Tal & Tal Records.
