Marlow releases new single “I’m Not Leaving”

London-based band Marlow are releasing “I’m Not Leaving”, the first single and title track of their forthcoming new EP, out in 2023.

“This song is about the experiences that I’ve had with people struggling with anxiety and mental health. The lyrics tell a story of somebody explaining to a loved one that they’re there for them and will remain by their side during all of the tough times. I always imagined ‘I’m not leaving being featured during emotional/powerful scenes on hit television shows like Stranger Things and Greys Anatomy.” – says the singer, Freddie Marlow.

The band’s first release in 2022, “I’m Not Leaving” follows their debut EP ‘Enthusiast’, released last year. With big shiny synths and their most powerful chorus to date, “I’m Not Leaving” marks a solid start to MARLOW’s new path in 2022.

About Marlow
MARLOW, who for four years were based in Eastbourne, are now living and playing shows all over London. Last year, along with performing on The River Stage at Isle of Wight Festival, MARLOW released their debut EP ‘Enthusiast’. The EP was well received; Ear Milk and Wonderland praising songs like ‘Foreign Land’ and ‘Blame it’. This year, aside from a string of headlines and supports in and around London, including a performance at the O2 Academy2 in Islington, the band have been busy behind the scenes, shaping and evolving a fresh sound for this years’ new EP. This will be the band’s first release in 2022. There is a new member joining the ranks, Angus Macnaughton. Angus is stepping in on guitar to replace good friend of the band Joe Walsh. Joe parted ways amicably with MARLOW earlier this year. ‘I’m not leaving’ will be the first song Angus has played on. MARLOW are looking to 2023, hoping to pack up the summer with multiple festivals and shows around the UK.
