Meghistos -"The Reasons" [Buil2Kill]

Meghistos is a one man band that offers brutal death metal that owes a lot to the nineties of this genre and to the Floridian scene, Deicide above all. In all this, however, we see that this artist has decided to invest in something innovative, enriching his proposal with synth interludes and almost ambient parts that recall certain experiments attempted by sacred monsters such as Pestilence of “Testimony Of The Ancient” or the first Nocturnus .

Very fast songs almost at the limit of human conception are enriched with apocalyptic scenarios, well supported by a dry drum machine, and other parts where our Meghistos almost touches the dark sound of the Seventies. There are also echoes of Buldozer in “Neurodeliri”, and this could also be confirmed by the presence of the historic guitarist of this band, Andy “Bull” Panigada”. Don’t expect a simple album because “The Reasons is not.

This is an album that is almost unique in its genre and which we imagine can be loved and hated at the same time, because it offers different solutions from the masses and because it tries to bring something new to a field like death metal, where it is difficult to experiment too much and well, so a round of applause for him!
