Nothing, Melbourne Metal Act release third chapter in ambitious 5 Part Concept Series
THE SHROUD is the third chapter in the ambitious 5 part concept series THE SELF REPAIR MANIFESTO from Melbourne metal act NOTHING which deals with surviving a toxic and narcissistic relationship. THE SHROUD is about lifting the veil of deception to reveal true motives and evil intentions. The song showcases the band’s love of blackened death metal with some of their most aggressive riffs to date.

NOTHING are a powerhouse three piece metal band with national touring experience supporting Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom and Five Finger Death Punch. Returning from hiatus in 2016 Nothing released a self titled EP pushing their sound in a more progressive direction and made a huge impact at various live festival shows including Brewtality and HEAVY AF.
November 2018 saw the band begin releasing “Self Repair Manifesto”, an ambitious concept series of chronological singles forming a story inspired by narcissistic relationships, old poetry and a love of storytelling. Each release has seen the band receive more exposure and support from media and public alike as NOTHING continue to push songwriting boundaries and deliver powerful live shows.
