Prog metal band White Walls’ music video “Eye For An I” officially selected in 9th MSIFF-20, India
Critically acclaimed Romanian progressive metal band White Walls has released its third album “Grandeur” on the 23rd of October. On the 13th of October the band released the animated music video for second single “Eye For An I”, created by David Pagaille. After many positive comments, the video was submitted to the 9th MSIFF-20 (Mumbai Shorts International Film Festival). Here it it was officially selected in the categories Production and Music. The festival will take place on the 6th of December.
Discussing the video and the official selection process Șerban (bass) comments: “The animated video was created by an extremely talented animator by the name of David Pagaille; we showed him Radu Damian’s artwork, sketches and overall character concepts for the album artwork, and we told him to go wild reimagining that “world” in a different style. We were blown away by what he managed to do with the imagery! It’s fascinating to us to get nominated for this festival, especially since our little video kind of flew under the radar at home, getting close to no press coverage here. Having some mainstream exposure for a small, independent Romanian metal band is something we don’t take for granted, and we’re excited to see David’s hard work get some well deserved recognition, too!”
