Super Glue Anxiety – “Celtic Jazz”
Super Glue Anxiety is a new Finnish band that performs experimental alternative rock. The music combines different genres such as ska / funk / metal / punk. What’s fun about this band is that you can do anything, the only limit is your imagination. There are no border fences, says the band’s singer Juha Kraapo. The band started from Kraapo’s interest in such bands as Mr. Bungle and Madness. Guitarist Räikkönen, on the other hand, is a fan of ska punk bands, so he wanted to join. Both singer Juha Kraapo and guitarist Sami Räikkönen are also known from the band Black Dreams, which plays melancholic metal. Celtic Jazz is a fun story about a druidess goofing around the Highlands and trying to enter the witches’ competition.
A dynamic trend where technic and body blend together thanks to a good glue made of refined sounds well adapted to the musical context that embellish the listening.
A listening that reveals good technical and compositional skills, and that demonstrates how the band knows how to move with familiarity in their musical environment.
“Celtic Jazz”, lays the foundations on really spot on metrics and riffs, managing to dose a mass of sounds that give concreteness and a sound mature enough to get noticed and appreciated.
