Unfaithfull, Italian Industrial-Core metal band

Unfaithfull is an Industrial-Core metal band based in Italy and active since 2007. The aim is to grind together the ’90s crushing death metal style with the cold and ultra modern fascination of electronic post industrial. The sound is rich of various influences as industrial metal, metalcore, groove metal, djent metal, death metal. In 2020 their third album AEON won the “Self Release Of The Month” award on Rock Hard Italy magazine, in 2015 the “Best EP” on European Metal Channel. The new album Architextures is now about to be released with Wanikiya Records, on all digital platforms/stores.

Musicwebzine – Hi guys , who are Unfaithfull ?
Hi! Unfaithfull is an Industrial Core Metal band based in Italy, born in 2007! This is our 4th album.

Musicwebzine – Tell us about your latest album !
Architextures is probably the most aggressive album we made so far, and I started writing the songs in 2020 during the Covid. Its sound is pure, brave, sci-fi and dystopic, the aim is to leave you breathless and weak!

Musicwebzine – Which guest would you like get for your next album ?
I wrote to Jason Gobel (ex Cynic) during the making of Architextures to play a solo in this full lenght.. but at that time he was very busy.. so I hope next album will be the guest!

Musicwebzine – Which bands influenced your style ?
Many bands.. you can hear Fear Factory, Sybreed, Pantera, Strapping Young Lad, Opeth, Nevermore, Soilwork, At The Gates, In Flames (especially in our first release), Carcass, Meshuggah, Textures, a bit of Dream Theater, Death.

Musicwebzine – How many stile we can listen in your music ?
Basically we play Industrial Metal, but you can hear progressive, death, melodeath, and some dissonant stuff blinking an eye to Nevermore (I love that band), and yes, of course.. some riffs are a tribute to Pantera.

Musicwebzine – What about the cover ?
The cover was made by a japanese artist, I bought that some years ago ‘cause I found it really fitting the meaning of the release.

Musicwebzine – How is the music scene in your country ?
In Italy is not so good now, lot of mainstream but few venues for underground scene, many years ago the situation was very different, but now I can’t say it’s encouraging!
