Velour Fog - "Glue" [Self Released]

Velour Fog are a 4 piece British rock band heralding from the outskirts of London, UK’s answer to a new wave of rock. Serving listeners a fest of stone-cold riffs, tasty licks, rapid guitar shredding, and a smackdown of beats combined with almighty drums and big vocals that get heads banging for all the right reasons. Formed in 2020, the band is led by frontman, lead guitarist and songwriter, Jake with fingers that flow faster than lightning across the frets, and whose powerhouse vocals are invigorantly intoxicating. Drummer ‘Moose’, is the engine room of the band and it’s rhythms, the rock steady backbone giving Velour Fog its intensity and groove.

Whilst rhythm guitarist Marshall is known for his hypnotic, spell binding and often shocking stage moves. Completing the line-up is Andrea, the Italian Stallion on bass he lets his fingers do the walking. Velour Fog are currently working with the legendary Rock Music Producer Nick Tauber who worked with some of the greats including Thin Lizzy, UFO, Venom and Def Leppard to name just a few. With influences from the 80’s and 90’s greats, Velour Fog bring you a ‘cocktail of rock’ bringing a unique sound and revamped genre to this decade and beyond. Following on from first single ‘Black Babylon, and the success of second single ‘Dopehead’, ‘Glue’ is our third single and it’s all about the riff! Velour Fog have taken Ozzie Osbourne at his word when he quoted ‘You can’t kill rock n roll it’s here to stay.’

“Glue”, the new single, offers a listener and engaging , well enhanced by more marked grafts that give dynamics to the whole journey. The general sound is fluid, dinamic, with a redundant scratchy of sounds that amplify and enhance the atmosphere. A job well done to leave a good mark with the intent, in our opinion, successful to make the piece dynamic and ringing as a whole.

The band , proved to be prepared to create dynamic structures, without renouncing more powerfull riffs, which undoubtedly leave an excellent mark. A song that drags the listener into a dimension with a remarkable sound impact and which releases excellent vibrations.
