“Two Years, Two Months” is the new single from VIOLet via Ghost Record: pre-save is now open

Pre-save is now available for “Two Years, Two Months,” the new single from prog-rockers VIOLet. The track will be available on major digital platforms and in Ghost Record’s official online stores starting Monday, September 28th.

“A song born from the heart…
In every sense.
An upbeat rock track that VIOLet premiered at the ‘People Involvement Festival – PIF 2026’ in Frigento; it reflects time and its vital—albeit brief—passage: just Two Years, Two Months…
Keep on rockin’.”

The band was founded in September 1996 under the name “The Little Black Book’s Band” by Giulio Cozzuto, who brought together ten musicians to perform Pink Floyd’s entire rock opera, The Wall. The group participated in various events and performances across different locations, but a pivotal moment arrived on August 29, 1998. Cymbaline—the fanzine of the Italian fan club dedicated to the Cambridge band—organized a major event at the Arena Cappuccini in Sala Consilina (Salerno) titled “The Wall – Music and Psychedelia in an Evocative Setting.”

The event was reprised on September 1, 1999, under the title “Suoni Pink – Visioni Floyd”; by then, the lineup had been reduced to four musicians (now known as VIOLet), who performed Live at Pompeii. In 2022, VIOLet released their second album of original material, A Big Elephant In The Room. 2026 will see the release of The Shepard Project via Ghost Record—the band’s third album—which is currently in the final stages of production.
