Chrome Sky is the result of a decade-long collaboration between the multifaceted singer-songwriter Paolo Miano and the creative composer/programmer Mario Ferrarese. Their goal was to create a new genre that fuses metal, industrial, trance, prog, goth, and many other influences into a unique and unexplored landscape, with the voice as the only human element against a fully programmed instrumental backdrop (including guitars).
Chrome Sky’s music portrays the alienated existential condition of contemporary man with a cold and merciless gaze, forcing the listener to confront the magma of impulses boiling in the depths of the human soul, where rationality is supplanted, good and evil are annihilated, the sacred and madness coexist, and man’s destiny is forged, thus perceiving the painful toil of existence.
