Mass Rift - "Concrete Death" [Self Released]

Mass Rift is a five-piece rock band, combining groovy bass riffs and 90’s guitar sounds with hauntingly distressed yet powerful vocals and driving technical drums.

They have found their signature sound sitting somewhere between the intensity of 90’s grunge era bands combined with a clearly noticeable Nu Metal influence of the early 2000’s. However, they offer something different and unique to their listeners outside of genre based thinking.

Lyrically, Mass Rift is all about the unfathomable depths of human nature, failing relationships and the crippling ironic paradoxes of life.

“Concrete Death”, the new single, give us a concentration of heavy rhythms, and distorted sounds. A song with a full-bodied general sound, thanks also to a guitar that gives volume and grit, making listening intense and well enhanced by instruments typical of that Alternative Metal sound with the addition of further details that amplify and attack the sound, making it deep, and thus creating the right dynamic.
