Max Norton - "Comets" [Self Released]

Max Norton is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer. Hope, change, and having a good time are the central themes of his work. Max wrote, recorded, produced, and played every instrument on this song and on the remaining four songs that make his forthcoming debut EP, “Each One Is A Movie”. Drums will always be the anchor to his songs along with lyrics that transport the listener to a timeless place. Max’s EP is fully recorded, mixed, and mastered and he is in the throes of planning its release.

Max recently relocated to London from Nashville, TN, were he spent the last decade as a professional drummer playing with a significant number of recording artists including ATO Records’ Benjamin Booker and Slow Dancer, Third Man Records’ Olivia Jean, and Fantasy Records’ Devon Gilfillian. After touring extensively throughout his career, including numerous international stages and festivals (Glastonbury, Coachella, Afropunk London and New York, etc.), Max is now positioning himself as a full-time solo artist.

“Comets” is a track full of details that make listening more unique than rare, creating something truly original, that gift a powerfull sound and full of energy. Scratchy guitars, and a general sound faster with melodic details, that made a song dinamic and full of powerfull.

For lovers of the genre, Alt Rock, it is certainly a good simple, direct proposal that can be listened to right from the start and, increasingly intriguing, leads to the finale with ease and pleasantness.
