Planethard – “Equilibrium” [RCN Music]
“Equilibrium” is Planethard’s fourth studio album. Since the release of their debut album “Crashed on Planet Hard”, the band has always been looking for a technical evolution to reach perfection, without altering the hard rock/metal nature of their sound.
It’s difficult to fit the band into a single genre, for the sole reason that everything plays with immediate simplicity, releasing overall riffs dressed in a clear but impactful distortion and an overall fluid listen.
The hardrock tone places a general texture at the center, which unrolls over the distance and with the rhythmic support well inserted, at this point with a rampant voice, the circle is complete. Excellent performance for this Italian who will certainly have other nice surprises in store for us.
