The Odious Construct premiere “Throne of Misanthropy”

California-based technical/progressive melodic death metal outfit The Odious Construct has teamed up with Metal Injection to premiere their new standalone single, “Throne of Misanthropy”. The band has new merch to coincide with today’s premiere and it’s linked to below.

Today’s launch of “Throne of Misanthropy” is The Odious Construct’s first new music since their 2018 EP, Shrine of the Obscene, which was released through The Artisan Era. It also serves as an introduction of the group’s new vocalist, Jake Vancil (Dethrone the Sovereign, ex-live for Aenimus), and the song will appear on the upcoming full-length album when it is released.

Metal Injection comments on the launch of “Throne of Misanthropy”
“The Odious Construct return with their first bit of new music since 2018’s Shrine of the Obscene. Continuing to fly the flag of hard-hitting and interesting death metal under The Artisan Era’s umbrella, the new single “Throne of Misanthropy” is available to hear today. A brand new, absolutely dominating piece of music that also happens to feature the band’s new vocalist Jake Vancil (Dethrone the Sovereign, ex-Aenimus (live)). Vancil does absolutely incredible work on the new track, offering up a wide range in his performance that will instantly soothe over anyone’s uncertainty.”
