Louisiana band Ventruss release new single/video “Sentiment” with MVK Music Group
Baton Rouge, Louisiana Hard Rock/Metal Band Ventruss Release their next single/video “Sentiment” with MVK Music Group. Ventruss continues to push their own southern brand of melodic nu-metalcore as they bring up their level over and over again. “Sentiment” is their own sound of metal riffs and, anthemic drums. Lyrically “Sentiment” addresses the topic of self-doubt; revealing the struggle and how it affects the mind by relaying a personal narrative. Ventruss takes a look at the complexities as they continue to create and define their brand with their latest “Sentiment”. Carving their place in the metal world and opening for Buckcherry in Banton Rouge – Ventruss is bringing it this summer!
“There’s a lot to take from “Sentiment”. Mental illness is real and can affect relationships with family and friends. It may be hard to understand from the outside and can be easily perceived as a red flag, but internally that person has much more going on and before you know it, they can end their own life. This happened to me a few years back and once it did, I was having flashbacks of my weakest moments and feeling like I had absolutely no one but in reality, I was the one keeping myself locked in my own mind. This is not only a heavy track musically and lyrically but also a cry for help.” – Ben Jewell
